IA-AWWA REGISTRATION POLICIES
PAYMENT IN ADVANCE
Full payment is required to gain entrance to the IA-AWWA event.
SUBSTITUTION, CANCELLATION & REFUND
Substitutions are accepted at any time. Cancellations submitted to IA-AWWA via email at
[email protected] no later than September 16, 2025 will be refunded the registration fee. No-shows and cancellations not received by September 16, 2025 will not be eligible for a refund.
EVENT CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT
IA-AWWA reserves the exclusive right to modify, postpone/reschedule or cancel programs for any reason, including but not limited to emergency, inclement weather or other 'acts of God'. If there is an event cancellation, every attempt will be made to reschedule, and registration fees will be applied to the rescheduled event date. Any travel, lodging, or incidental expenses incurred related to a cancelled event cannot be reimbursed by IA-AWWA under any circumstances. If a cancelled event cannot be rescheduled, IA-AWWA will determine an equitable basis for the refund of a portion or all of the registration fees, after due consideration of circumstances and expenditures.
CONSENT TO USE OF PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, an IA-AWWA event constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution of the registrant or attendees' image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities by IA-AWWA and other third parties, including but not limited the venue, the host city, and the host convention and visitors bureau.
SOCIAL MEDIA, CAMERA, AND CELL PHONES
IA-AWWA encourages the use of social media during our conferences and events. Filming or live streaming of any presentation, session or exhibit hall booth is prohibited without the permission of the presenter or exhibitor. Attendees are asked to be respectful of their colleagues by silencing all mobile devices before entering meeting rooms.
PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM DISCLAIMER
While IA-AWWA has taken care to ensure the qualifications of speakers, presenters, and moderators at this conference, the opinions, comments, and other views made by a participant in his/her presentation(s) are not necessarily those of IA-AWWA nor its officers, trustees, planning committee, or staff. Participants must respect the confidentiality of any information shared during the conference, including presentations, discussions, and networking conversations, and refrain from disclosing or misusing such information.
DISCRIMINATION OR HARASSMENT
IA-AWWA has zero-tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment, including, but not limited to verbal, physical, or sexual harassment, discrimination, and intimidation. All participants are expected to treat each other with respect and dignity, and refrain from engaging in any behavior that could be considered harassing or bullying. This includes refraining from making derogatory comments, using offensive language, or engaging in unwanted physical contact. Sexual harassment includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature, including jokes and innuendo. IA-AWWA prohibits retaliation against any IA-AWWA staff, volunteer, member, conference participants, or other person for making a complaint or for assisting in a complaint investigation Any person who believes any misconduct has occurred should report to the Executive Director or any Board Officer.
